Last day of June!

We spent the last day of June like it was our last day of summer vacation. We hadn't planned it that way but we were feeling like living it up a little, so we did.

We spent four hours at the pool and man did the kids enjoy themselves!

While we were at the pool I text my friend Lisa to see if her family would want to meet us at a new brewery that opened near us called Crooked Crab. Tony has been wanting to try them out and since I'm not a beer drinker I thought it might be more fun with other people who do. They said they'd meet us at 5:15 pm to grab beer and dinner from the food truck that was there that night.

These two boys sat at the table talking about Minecraft for the longest time.

These three played with games supplied by the brewery and fed Evie's babydoll.

While we ate and finished the beers the kids had fun drawing on the large chalkboard wall. It's so cool to watch them develop these friendships!

Harper was still hungry after eating so Tony suggested we drive over to Kilwins for some ice cream. Lisa and her family had never been so they went with us. Only after suggesting Kilwins did we remember it was Saturday night and there'd be live music and thus, lots of people in the area. The only shady seating available was on the sidewalk outside, so we took it.

There was dancing...

And other silly stuff...
