Boy Scouts, 10/3

Tony and Harper went to their first scout meeting during the first week of October and Harper came home with a build your own pocket knife kit. As soon as he and Tony walked in the door they set straight to work putting it together and within minutes they were finished.

The kids will be learning all about the three types of pocket knives and also learn how to sharpen them safely and use them in a variety of ways including whittling and cutting items like rope or fishing line. Once they demonstrate an ability to use a knife correctly and effectively they'll be able to earn a real pocket knife.
