While I was at dance with Dakota I suggested Tony take Harper to the costume store to see if he could find something just for the parade but Harper had zero interest and instead decided to dress up as a clown using a costume Zoe wore in middle school ages ago.
I had to do a bit of altering to make it fit him a bit better (the length of the pants were ridiculous on him) but once we had them all pinned up he was good to go.
Here's the rest of the bus stop crew all ready for their big parade!
The clown shoes are huge, even for adults, so it was quite an ordeal for Harper to walk in them. He kind of loved it though and the louder he could make them clomp, the happier he seemed to be! The line around the parking lot was moving quickly and many of the kids were running but when Harper came around the bend he was holding up the line a bit because of his shoes. We all knew he was coming though because we could hear him!
The parade started with the oldest kids and worked it's way down so Dakota's class was close to the end. She was so happy to see her dad and I out in the crowd!
I thought it was super funny when Harper tried running in his clown shoes so I had to get a little video!
