Shopping, Ballet and Pumpkins, Oh My!

Monday, after putting the little kids on the bus, my mom, sister and I drove out to the mall to do some last minute wedding shopping. My mom was looking for something to wear for the rehearsal dinner and while LaTisha and I weren't really looking for anything we found all kinds of stuff! Spending money we don't have is so much fun!

Would you just look at these boots I found at Nordstrom's! They're made by Ugg's, and I'm in love with that brown pair. (Honey, I'm a size 9.) 😏

We shopped and had the best time hanging out and only made it home just in time to get the kids off of the bus.

Later that evening Dakota had ballet and because it was the night before Halloween they were allowed to come dressed in costume! Dancing in costume is WAY different then dancing in a leotard and tutu!

As soon as dance ended we rushed back to the house to carve our pumpkins. Nothing like waiting until the very last minute to get that done! We didn't have time for fanciness and stencils so we let the kids draw on the faces and we cut out whatever they drew. They were perfect!

This one is Dakota's:

And this one is Harper's:

Landon had homework to do so my sister ended up drawing and cutting what would have been his.
