Rehearsal Night

Yesterday Dakota had her recital rehearsal. It wasn't until 7:15 pm but we were asked to be dressed and present by 7 pm. Since it was going to be after her bedtime when we got home I decided to give her a bath before leaving which meant I'd also have to blow dry her hair so that it'd look nice. Well, let me tell you, that little girls hair blows out to the softest dreamiest hair! It looked beautiful and you'll just have to take my word for it because I didn't have time to stop and take pictures! 

Anyways, we had a little more than 20 minutes to wait in the lobby for their turn to go on stage and the girls were equal parts nervous and excited. They were running all around and doing silly stuff like have arm wrestling competitions. But, once they were called to the back, they all got serious and did a great job.

I'm posting their dance now because we aren't allowed to film during the actual recital. I'm buying the official DVD of the dances but probably won't be able to share it which means you're stuck with what I was able to get; and it's pretty darn adorable.  They were able to run through it twice in their allotted time and I recorded both.

I cannot wait to see this on Saturday! It's going to be a great show!
