Cozumel, Mexico

We had to be up and ready to get off the ship bright and early Wednesday morning. We had made it to Mexico over night and we were really excited to be getting off the ship to hit the beach again. We had a quick breakfast and then made our way to the gangway.

As we walked off the ship it seemed overcast but we soon realized it was just because we were parked next to another ship and the two of them together were blocking the sunlight!

After walking down to the end of the dock our tickets were checked and then we were told to wait under Tiki 2. When we got there we were treated to some sort of fire ceremony. Tony and I have concidered moving to Cozumel and doing an ice ceremony for tips. We couldn't handle the heat and the burning our own feet but we thought maybe we could do something with ice cubes!

When the fire ceremony was over we got on a bus that took us to the beach. There was a lot for us to do on the beach. There were pedal boats, kayaks, and water bikes to use for free and for some extra money they had snorkeling and jet ski's. There was also a floating water park area and free bar service! The package we bought provided a buffet lunch and there was even a small water park and pool. It is a great way to spend a day for sure!

I didn't want to miss my chance kayaking again so I made sure to grab the opportunity while I could! My sister and I went out together and it was great!

Landon really wanted the chance to drive a jet ski so he and Tony went together. It was $65 for half an hour and they enjoyed every minute! But, Tony said his back really hurt later that day and we're pretty sure it was from bumping up and down on the back of the jet ski.

Harper really loved the water park and rode down the slides as many times as he could! He was able to get Tony, Landon and Aunt TT to go down with him, so he went many times.

Up on the beach the kids found a coconut and it led to many fights. I swear, they can always find something to fight about!

When we finally found another one we thought it'd solve all the fighting but since one was smaller than the other it didn't work. Eventually we had to ban the coconut so they'd quit arguing. 🙄

All in all it was a really nice day. The weather was beautiful and we had plenty to do all day. When it was time to go we were all ready to have a break back on the boat!
