Chuck E. Cheese

This week felt like as good a time as any to make our annual trek to Chuck E. Cheese; it's something Lisa and I take the kids to do once a summer. The kids enjoy going and we always feel like it's a good way to spend a morning keeping them busy. We got there right at opening and were the only ones there for about the first half hour; it's the best when you have the place all to yourselves! I bought the kids timed play cards (1 hour each) and told them once there hour was up, that was it. They were cool with that and after an hour they'd played everything they cared to play, so it worked out well.

Harper and Colin played the Jurassic Park shooting game for most of the time we were there. I remember Harper being a little afraid of it not so long ago...

Dakota, as usual, spent a lot of time playing with Evie. She just loves hanging out with her and is very sweet to her.

Poor Wyatt is kind of the odd man out. He didn't seem to mind too much while we were there though and had fun playing all the games.

Once they ran out of time on their cards we went to lunch at Panera before heading home. They had a good time but I wonder if the two older boys will be grown out of it by next year? It's kind of sad to think about but next summer they'll be close to 9 years old!
