Homestead Gardens Fall Festival

After spending the morning carving pumpkins we met up with the Wakefield gang for some fun at the Homestead Gardens Fall Festival.

There lots of things for the kids to do and the weather was pretty nice for an afternoon outside. We went with our coats on but it wasn't long before we were looking for places to stash them! The first thing my kids wanted to do was jump on this big bouncy contraption.

Because Jeff was coming to get Evelyn and take her home for her nap Lisa wanted to make sure she got to go on the hayride before she left, so that was next.

Then, we all took turns shooting corn out into the cornfield. There were targets out there but none of us even got close!

Across from the corn shooters was a tent full of games for the kids to try as well as pony rides, a hay bale AND corn maze. We spent a lot of time in that area!

When we were done with all of those activities we hopped back on the hayride back to the beginning again so that the kids could see the animals and go down the tube slides.

I dread the day that my kids get too old for these things! It's always fun to get out and be with them while they're having such a good time!
