The movie ended up being pretty good and the kids really enjoyed it. Dakota was her usual squirmy self but I just kept filling up her popcorn bowl and she was fine. She liked sitting next to her friend and chatting about different parts throughout the movie. Harper also enjoyed the movie and enjoyed the twist in the story.
Most of the people we joined were from girl scouts but when I told Lisa we were going she decided to bring Colin as well. Unfortunately she didn't tell me she was interested until after I'd bought our tickets so we ended up not being seated together. (Our theaters are pretty much all reserved seating these days.) But, Colin too enjoyed the movie and Harper is always glad to see him...especially when he's surrounded by eight giggling 6/7 year old girls! (Honestly, those girls do not phase Harper one bit. He's so relaxed no matter what!)
The girls were being really silly (as I'm sure you can imagine) and getting a photo of them was next to impossible! The cutie on the far left wasn't really mad, just being silly and refusing to cooperate for a photo! She ended up taking off running with her mom chasing her and giggling all the way back!
If you look really closely in the following photo you can see just a bit of Harper's face behind Dakota's shoulder!
