7) I am so thankful for the two fireplaces we have in our home. They keep us toasty warm and help to keep our heating bill a little lower. We set our thermostat to 68 degrees in the winter, and while we’re up doing stuff, we aren’t cold, but once we sit down in the evening to watch TV or something, it seems like 68 might as well be 28. The fireplaces really warm our whole house too since the upstairs in open to the floor below. And, there is just something very “home” about sitting around a lit fire…
