Wedding Shower Games

Thankfully I didn't have to come up with the games we played at the wedding shower because Zoe's Man of Honor Viktor did that part.

The first game was just for Zoe and Brandon. Viktor filled up a large bowl with ice cold water and placed a bunch of steel rings into the bowl. One at a time and using only one foot they had to get as many of the steel rings out of the bowl in a certain amount of time. While they were both able to accomplish the task, I believe Brandon was a few seconds faster. Harper couldn't just let the two of them play though and as soon as they were done he HAD to have a turn! (I love how Harper picked up the first couple rings Brandon tossed out and put them back in for him to redo! That boy LOVES his sister and was going to make sure she won!)

The second game was my favorite and I think the most fun for everyone. Everyone broke up into groups of three and two people had to make the third person a toilet paper wedding dress. Everyone was wrapping and rolling their model in toilet paper and it was really fun watching everyone model their design down our patio catwalk! The teams were:

  • Mema and her sister, Aunt Martha and Tony.

  • Brandon, Meme (Harper & Dakota) and Zoe.
  • Aunt Lori, Jessica (Brandon older sister) and Aly (Travis' girlfriend).
  • Jessica (bridesmaid), Shannon (bridesmaid) and Craig (Jessica's boyfriend).
  • Paige (Brandon's younger sister), Miranda (Zoe's friend) and Andy (Viktor's boyfriend).

I thought they all did a great job and everyone was super creative (and competitive!). Here's a little video of the models strutting down the catwalk:

The third and final game involved eating a colossal donut with hands behind their backs. It reminded Zoe of her younger birthdays when they'd all challenge one another to do that with birthday cake. :) Andy had a great start but it came down to Tony and Brandon in the end. Tony beat Brandon but Brandon was only a second or two behind him!

One more wedding shower post to go...
