Stuff-a-Plush

Tonight, on a whim, we took the kids to eat dinner at Chick-fil-A  so that they could do the "stuff a plush" event that they were holding. It's basically a very scaled down version of Build A Bear with the bonus of a spicy chicken sandwich and no dishes to wash. The downfall was that the store was PACKED with absolutely no place to sit and eat. We got very lucky when I saw a group of people leave and we snagged their table but that was only several trips around the store looking for a place to eat. The kids play place was also PACKED and I didn't even let the kids go in there because I'm fairly certain that room was above it's max capacity and with all the germs/flu going around, it just seemed like a terrible idea.

All in all I think $15 per child is a bit much. The animals they stuffed seem to be pretty good quality but really, they only bought an animal and then did their best to stuff it with polyfil. Tony and I ended up doing most of the stuffing because to get it into the arms and legs was hard work! I didn't want the arms and legs to be left floppy and unstuffed so we spent a good bit of time working on their little animals.

While Tony and I finished stuffing their animals the two kids went and got their ice cream. There was a table with a bunch of different sprinkles and ice cream toppers that was also included in the price to participate, but still, $15...

They're both really happy with their little animals though and Harper named his bunny Confetti while Dakota chose Party Girl for her purple unicorn. Haha!

And, had we known, we could have gone to this very event tomorrow night at the location that Landon works! Ahh! Next time!
