Monster Mini Golf

We had all kinds of outdoor plans for last weekend, all scout related (camping for H and an event for D) but everything was cancelled due to impending rain. Since I knew our day had completely opened up I asked Lisa what her plans for Saturday were and she said they were going to Monster Mini Golf to use some passes they had. So, I check on Groupon and since they had a family deal, I snagged it and decided to join them for an hour or two.

When we've gone in the past it was always right around their opening time on a weekday in the summer so it was never super busy, but on Saturday late afternoon, that place is hopping! I couldn't believe how busy the place was but we got in line and grabbed some clubs off we went. 

The wait time between each hole was quite lengthy because of the amount of people using the course, and by about hole 7 Dakota was asking if we could just be done. I told her I'd like her to finish since we were already there and for the most part she did okay...but I'll have to keep that in mind should we go again on a weekend. 

When everyone had finished the 18th hole we loaded up in our cars and drove over to On The Border for dinner. It was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday!
