One of the local parks around here, along with a local television station, hosted a free Friday flik (movie). There were tons of games for the kids (all free), a huge park area and even an area for kids to ride their skateboards. There was pizza, popcorn, hotdog's, and other treats for sale but we brought a picnic with us and the weather was just perfect for an evening spent outside. The movie that they were playing was Surf's Up, and because we chose to sit really far back, we couldn't hear it that well. I don't know if it was due to where we were sitting that we couldn't hear or just that all the kids around us were still running around and playing, either way I have no idea what the movie was about, and we ended up leaving about 30 minutes into it. The kids had a good time although it was much more geared for Landon's age group. Zoe was a good sport about it and enjoyed herself any ways. I hope that we will be able to get to another one of these, and we will make sure to sit closer up next time so we can hear the movie!
