Doing Battle

Landon has been all about Nerf guns forever now, but last week he discovered something else Nerf that he just had to have.

The Nerf sword.

He just had to have it because some of his friends in the neighborhood had one and he needed something to do battle with. So, after begging me to buy it (and getting the same no as an answer) he decided it was worth spending his own money on.

Not only did he buy the sword, he also bought a shield that came with another shorter sword. But even that wasn’t enough because he came home and made an additional shield from a cardboard box we had in the basement.

He’s pretty much battled everyone in our house that will, and he’s been battling his friends every chance he gets. They’re having a great time and no one’s even gotten hurt. Yet.
