Brandon, Zoe's fiance, turned 24 this past Wednesday. She asked if we could have a little celebration for him here at the house and I decided we'd have a little Pokemon party since he loves that so much right now.
Despite the current Pokemon craze, there wasn't much Pokemon stuff to be found in the stores. I couldn't find plates or napkins or anything so it didn't turn out quite like I had envisioned, but we still had fun. I did buy some old figurines from an old friend of mine, so we did have a little decoration.
Right before Brandon showed up Zoe,Tony and I sat at the table making Poke ball place cards and Dakota was the place card hanger upper. She loves that job.
I even made a themed cake, and I was pretty happy with how it turned out!
Brandon loves Mexican so we had taco's, chips with salsa and Spanish rice for dinner. After eating we sang happy birthday and watched him open his gifts...
It was a nice little celebration and I sure hope he knows we love him!
