The two little kids have had so much fun playing with the new toys they got for Christmas. While they've pretty much played at least once with everything, there have been a few stand outs.
For Harper it's been the Create a Chain Reaction kit he got. He has pulled it out every day since getting it and just loves seeing which of his creations works best. He's built some very simple designs and some complex and it's kept him happy for hours.
Dakota is really loving her Little Red Riding Hood and Three Little Pigs games. She hasn't played with them as much as Harper has played with the chain reaction kit but she has pulled them both out several times and enjoyed trying to figure out the puzzles. Harper really likes them too, so win win!
Another great toy they received was Disney's Storymation Studio Model Kit. The kit comes with everything (except and iPad/phone) you need to create stop action films. There are several scenery options and lots of cool characters like Peter Pan, Hook, Mickey, Minnie, Woody and Buzz to name a few. The kids really love making little movies with the sets and characters and I see lots of possibilities outside of the Disney character realm. (Shopkins, Grossery Gang, Pokemon, Polly Pocket etc...) All you have to do is download the (free) app, hook your iPad/phone up to the sturdy holder and go...it's super simple and really fun!
