Elf Antics, Part 3

Peppermint, our little elf on the shelf, flew back home to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Dakota cried and cried when I told her that Peppermint was leaving and while Harper didn't cry he sure looked sad. They enjoyed all of her little antics this year and said they'd miss her and would look forward to her return next year.

Here is what she got up to those final days at our house:

Day 18 she was found on a zip line through the living room. (The kids LOVED this one!)

Day 19 she was found stuck in our clock.

Day 20 she was hanging out in Tony's stocking.

Day 21 we found that she'd been up making paper snowflakes.

Day 22 she'd given us all matching elf hats! (Another kid favorite!)

Day 23 she'd built an interesting gingerbread house. (When Harper saw it he giggled and said "that's pretty silly, Peppermint, but I do like it!")

And, day 24 found her sledding down the stair rail in a plastic dish. :)

I did really good this year not forgetting to move our elf and on Christmas night found myself looking for her so I could move her! I was relieved when I realized her time was up and that I didn't have to move her as part of my nightly routine anymore!
