Snowglobes

I had the hardest time deciding what to give the kids' teachers this year. I thought about it for the longest time but ultimately decided I'd do something homemade plus a gift card. So, as I perused the never ending ideas on Pinterest, I came across these adorable snow globes and knew that I could probably pull them off.

Since I waited so long to decide what to make, most of the tiny ornaments were already gone from the stores so I ended up using a tiny bottle brush tree I had and a few of the tiny ornaments from the kids' trees in their bedrooms.

Once the ornaments were glued down I added fake snow and glued half of a plastic ball ornament over the top. Then, I added the gift card to the jar and surrounded it with candy canes. A little lace around the edge hid the hot glue and gave it a cute finished look.
