My little entry way table is full of lights and blooms. I love that bunny wreath but decided to just prop it up on this table rather than hang it. It's great because the lights are on timers so I don't have to remember to switch them on and off every day. I know my clock doesn't really fit with the color scheme, but I love that stupid clock so it stays.
Tony got me started with a little miniatures garden last year and this year I picked up a few things to make a spring scene. This is what it looks like from above and I can tell I need to get a few more pieces to fill it in...
I just love that little pink bike with the basket of flowers on front! I really liked the pink and red mushrooms as well but there are just way too many for this little garden.
As soon as Dakota came in from school and saw that I did some decorating she said "I'm so mad at you Mommy"! When I asked why she said "you did all the decorating without me"! I assured her that I left some for her to do and she was no longer mad at me. :) She loves helping set thing up and I know that so I left her the little egg/carrot tree to set up by herself.
I also have a little bunny ferris wheel that holds a few eggs and I let her sort that out as well which made her happy. The two kids just love that little yellow chick and it'll probably move all over the house before Easter is over with. They just can't resist that cute little thing!
Another clock that doesn't go with anything but I can't get rid of it, so again, it stays. That little bunny tealight candle was a free gift with my million dollar Yankee candle purchase.
I don't know how long I've had these bunnies, but it's been many, many years. I really should toss them because they're banged up and missing pieces, but I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet. Maybe when I get ready to decorate for summer I'll be able to get rid of them...who knows.
I still love this little bunny display thingy that I got a few years ago.
I went ahead and changed my letter board today and this is this month's quote:
Today, while I was putting out the spring stuff I thought to myself how it'd been a long time since Tony had brought home flowers. I guess he read my mind because when he came home from work, he had these gorgeous tulips with him! Too bad he didn't read my mind when I was thinking about how nice it would be to be lying on a beach somewhere...
