Last Day at the Beach

August 29th was our last day at the beach. We got up and headed down as soon as everyone was up, dressed and had eaten their breakfast. Minus Landon who really didn't spend any time down at the water due to a medication he is taking that makes him more susceptible to sunburn and irritation. We asked a lady sitting near us to get a group shot of us and by some miracle, she got a really good one! I only wish Landon had been in it.

Here are some more photos of our last day. I'm not sure what inspired this "pose" but that little girl is so cute on my knee! She was so giggly when we did this!

Another Pinterest find. Are we capturing them under the bucket or shaking them out...you decide.

Dakota wanted her very own sandy smile selfie.

And then Dakota got a hold of my phone and took some pics:

Tony created one more sand masterpiece, this time a GIANT octopus.

Dakota, got to be the octopus while the boys were her catches of the day!

We let Evelyn be the octopus for a minute too but she really hated it.

Around noon we all took a break from the beach for a little bit. We went to our room and made lunch while the kids sat out on the balcony talking and playing.

After about an hour of rest we went back down to the pool. Lisa ordered a Voodoo Bucket and she and I thought it was REALLY good!

While we enjoyed the Voodoo, the kids had Italian Ice. (Evelyn and Wyatt were upstairs taking naps with Jeff.)

Later that evening, after we'd showered from a long day in the water, we all headed to Barefoot Landing. Lisa had scheduled a photo shoot with tigers for her family and we opted to do the old timey photo's since we'd never done them before. (Ours wasn't as cool as theirs but ours was MUCH cheaper!) The old time photos were fun and I'm really happy how this one turned out. It was funny to me that the one who had the hardest time not laughing was Landon! He couldn't stop for a minute or two and we had to wait for him to get himself together!

We ate at a cool restaurant called LuLu's and walked around the boardwalk and perused the shops a little before heading back to the hotel to start packing up.

April Fools Pranks

The two little kids made me laugh yesterday morning.  I was upstairs getting things ready for school when I heard them talking about how ...
