Celebrating with Mema

 

I decided to do things a little differently concerning Landon’s birthday this year. His birthday is at the beginning of July and having parties at that time of year is always hard. So, this year we celebrated early.

Mema wasn’t able to make the party we had today, so she threw him a mini party at her house on Saturday. She got him a couple gifts and a little cake and we sang Happy Birthday. That was it, and it was nice. I know the above picture looks posed, but it wasn’t. He was just thinking of a wish before he blew out the candles. I think you can see why I love this kid so much from this picture; he’s just such a sweet little boy.

I think Zoe was just as excited to see that giant water slide as Landon was! I can see some fun summer afternoon’s out playing on that slide!

Landon was also really happy to get this bow and arrow set. He was ready to play with it right away. It’s going to take some practice for him to get good at it, but even after playing with it for a little bit today he’s already getting better!
