Dashing Through the Snow

Since school was cancelled today, we took the opportunity to go sledding. We are lucky that there is a huge hill behind our neighborhood that we can walk to. The area is owned by a church, and they don’t seem to mind that we use their hill to play on.

We were covered in snow, and lots of it ended up in our faces:

 

The kids found a little ramp at the bottom of the hill and they flew over that several times:

The girls doubled up a couple of times, and the last time, they hit the bottom so hard they nearly broke their backs:

Landon slid like a penguin:

And they all pitched in together to build a snowman:

We had a great time out there, and since school is cancelled again tomorrow, I’m sure we’ll be back!
