Summer Floating Candle Jars

I wanted to make some floating candle jars like I’d been seeing on Pinterest, so yesterday when I made a trip to Michaels I grabbed the supplies I’d need.

Zoe and I set to work on them as soon as the babies were in bed.

First we put in the sand:

Then we added crushed seashells:

Then we added some whole seashells on top:

Tied some twine and something representative of summer to the tops:

And finally filled them with water and a floating candle:
