After sending Landon off to school this morning, Zoe and I decided to pack up the little kids and go to Patapsco State park.
It was a beautiful morning so we decided to go ahead and make the short hike up to the waterfall, something Zoe wanted to do since the first time we went. Hiking up to the waterfall was short, but it was a bit slippery and Dakota refused to walk, so it wasn’t simple. Luckily, it was worth it.
When we got tired of the waterfall we walked down to the river. We chose a different spot this time but the kids had just as much fun as usual. They splashed and poured and threw rocks to their little hearts content…and then we had lunch.
It was a good day and probably the last we’ll get to play in the water until next year.
