On Sunday night, I looked at the weather for the week and it looked like Wednesday was going to be a nice day to go to Mema’s pool and I even had Landon invite a friend to go so he’d have someone to swim with. Wednesday morning was quite chilly but we hoped that once we got to the pool it’d warm up. It didn’t. We only ended up being at the pool for about an hour and a half before we decided it just wasn’t going to work. We ate lunch and then packed our stuff to go. It was a bummer. Who would have thought that it’d be too cold to go to the pool in August?
That afternoon, of course, the sun was out and it was gorgeous! We aren’t ones to waste a beautiful day, so outside we went!
Dakota wanted to make bubbles.
Harper wanted to eat popsicles and walk the rock wall.
It was a pretty low key afternoon for us. Sometimes we get those days whether we need them or not.
