Labor Day Weekend, Sunday

On Sunday morning Tony and I decided it was going to be a great day to head down to the city for awhile. We have a membership to the National Aquarium and Harper has been asking to go back for awhile, so off we went.

The weather was absolutely perfect that day. It was sunny and warm but not hot. The inner harbor area was busy as usual, but it was still a really pleasant day. We ate lunch at Uno’s, Landon’s choice and because it was so nice out we were able to eat outside.

After eating we headed downstairs and Landon saw these Low Riders and wanted to give it a try:

He loved it but at $900 a pop, he’s just going to have to love the memory.
When you go into the aquarium they make you take a family picture, here’s ours:

The guy taking our picture had a good laugh when he saw the face Landon made. Landon had warned me he was going to make a silly face…

At the front of the aquarium there are some bubble tubes. The kids are always fascinated by them but Landon had to wonder who came up with the idea. He thought it might have gone something like this:

It was a nice day out but I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon. Landon pretty much hated the whole thing “it’s just a bunch of boring fish” and Harper and Dakota had had enough too.
