Grandparent's Day

Friday was grandparents day at Dakota's school and that little girl was SO excited! She knew that her Mema was going to come to spend the day with her and she couldn't wait to show her around.

I don't really know what they did but they did get to have lunch together and then they created this little tree project in the classroom.

The school's book fair was going on that week so Dakota was able to get Mema to do some shopping with her there. They ended up with a big finger pointer, a Shopkins bag and a book for Harper.

Somehow Dakota managed to convince Mema to get her picture taken with her and while Mema didn't really want to, she did and the picture came out really nice!

Dakota loved having Mema there for the day and I'm glad they were able to spend that special day together.
