Cookies with Santa @ Maggiano's

Maggiano's offers some kids cooking courses and this month they offered a lesson on making sugar cookies. Santa was available for photo's too, but this time he wasn't the main attraction as they were given free reign with giant balls of dough and cups full of gorgeous sprinkles. (Harper said he'd had enough photo's with Santa and declined his invitation for a photo.) We met up with Colin, Wyatt and their mama Lisa at 9 am for a breakfast buffet followed by cookie rolling, cutting and decorating. (It was a super cool event but my two were out of control behavior wise so it was less fun for us than it could have been.)

Anywho, after breakfast the kids were each given a chef hat to decorate. There was a huge basket of stickers and some markers for them to use.

And, of course, stickers are always cool on your eyeballs as well. :)

The class was supposed to run from 9-11 but we were out of there by 10:30. The kids had a good time making their cookies but were a little out of control so we headed home in a very quiet van. When we got home we talked about how we should behave when we're out and how we treat our friends and then we baked our cookies...and burned them. Good thing we had plans to make more the next day with Zoe! Oops!
