Boy Scouts and a Birthday Party

Yesterday morning while Landon and I were at MVA Tony and the two younger kids were out putting bags on people's doors for the Boy Scout's Scouting for Food drive. They met up at the elementary school to get their bags and neighborhood assignments and then walked around placing plastic bags on nearby homes. Next Saturday they will have the task of going back through the neighborhood to collect any donated food which will then be donated to a local food pantry.

It was pretty cold out there yesterday morning but they were done in just over an hour so it wasn't too bad. Hopefully the weather will be decent next Saturday for pick up.

Later in the afternoon Harper had a birthday party to attend for a fellow scout. The party was at Dave & Busters so I thought it'd be fun if we all went and I just bought Landon and Dakota their own game cards. Landon brought some gift cards he'd been given at Christmas time and was able to use them while we were at the mall as well.

When the birthday party was over we walked over to Bobby's Burger Palace for dinner and then headed home for the night. It was a seriously busy Saturday but a pretty fun one as well.
