Three Ingredient Slime

Dakota has been asking to make slime for weeks now so after gathering up the few things we needed, we made slime yesterday. It was a different recipe than we tried last time and this one worked really well and was extremely easy. Three ingredients is all you need: glitter glue, contact lens solution and baking soda.

Dakota used purple glitter glue and Harper had orange; their current favorite colors. Squeeze entire 6 oz. bottle into a bowl. We used huge bowls but this was definitely not necessary.

Next, toss in a tablespoon of baking soda; stir.

The final step is to add one tablespoon of the contact lens solution; stir.
(Would you just look at these kids gorgeous eyelashes!)

As soon as the solution is added to the mixture it balls up into slime. It didn't take much mixing at all and Harper thought it was gross and refused to play with it after making it. Dakota, on the other hand, really liked playing with it and pulled it out several times during the day.

Now I'll just need to find something to do with the near full bottles of contact lens solution that we have left over.
