Easter 2018

I had a terrible night last night. The pain in my back and shoulder was relentless and I didn't sleep worth a crap. I thought it was getting better, but I was wrong and the pain just isn't going away. I woke up several times last night and must have been tossing and turning quite a bit because I was all tangled up in the covers. I decided to just get up and lay on the couch around 5:30 or so and just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard Harper's door open and only moments later, Dakota was up as well. (It was only 6:40 am. Ugh.) But, there was no point in fighting it since they both found an egg the bunny had left that had clues to where they could find more eggs and eventually their baskets. 

Harper's basket had a new Nerf gun and extra bullets, the movie Coco, an activity book, the newest Dogman book, (Dogman and Cat Kid), a bubble wand, a Grossery Gang set and some candy. 

Dakota's basket had a new Barbie Bakery Chef doll, an activity book, a few I Can Read books, the new My Little Pony movie, a bubble wand, a pad of construction paper and some candy. 

Landon got a basket too, but I don't have pictures of him since it was much later in the day that he opened his stuff. He got some gift cards, Domino's Pizza, Chipotle, Steam and iTunes. He also got a bag of Taki's to try, a couple Stranger Things t-shirts, some gum and candy. I also got him a pop socket and mount for the car when he's driving. 

All in all I think all the kids got great baskets and had a terrific Easter. Now we're headed over to Mema's house for a traditional ham dinner and to see Zoe and Brandon who are back from their honeymoon! I'm so excited to see them! :)
