Prom 2018

Landon was invited to prom this year by friend of his who is a senior. (Her name is Kaitlyn.) So, he and I did some prom shopping a few weeks ago, he picked up his suit from Men's Wearhouse on Wednesday and last night was the big night! Prom was held at the M&T Bank stadium downtown.

Kaitlyn told Landon she'd be over at 4:30 pm to take pictures and whatever before they left for the night. (Good thing they were able to come here since we had friends over for dinner!) At about ten minutes after four Landon went up to shower and get dressed. Yes, he allotted 20 minutes to shower and dress before leaving. (I asked Kaitlyn what time she started getting ready and she said 1 pm. So, there's the difference between women and men for ya.)

Kaitlyn showed up a little late, closer to 4:45 and somehow Landon was ready to go. He and I ran in the backyard to take a few shots of him by himself before she came but we didn't have much time due to his lack of time management skills. :)

As soon as Kaitlyn arrived we got a few shots of them in front of my neighbors gorgeous tree and then they hopped in their ride and were off!

They hadn't been gone long when Landon texted me freaking out that he'd forgotten to give her the corsage he'd bought. So, as soon as we'd finished dinner, my friend Lisa and I drove up to the restaurant they were at to give him the corsage. Luckily they weren't far away or it probably wouldn't have happened.

Since I was there and they both met me out front, I grabbed one more picture!

Prom was from 7-11 pm and then he came home afterwards to change before going to a friend of theirs house. I originally gave him a curfew of 1 am but since he came home to change and all that he asked if he could stay out till 2 am and since I was asleep Tony said it was fine. We know he was home on time because we told him to set the house alarm when he came in and when we checked it we saw that it was set at 2:04 am. :)

Today he told me that he'd had a good time but there weren't many other details; so very Landon like.
