I was determined to get the kids to the pool today, no matter what. We had lots of things to accomplish in the morning and Landon had practice in the afternoon but we still managed to squeeze in a little time in the water. Unfortunately the water was absolutely frigid so we weren't there very long and I didn't get any pictures of the kids in the water because I hadn't realized they'd be in so briefly. They ended up playing at the playground longer than they were in the pool...stinks that it was too cold to enjoy but there's always next year.
After going home and having dinner we ran back down to the pool for the end of summer dog swim. Every year on the day the pool closes they open the pool to the neighborhood dogs to come take a dip. It was so funny watching which dogs were ready to jump right in while most of them didn't want anything to do with it! I guess it was a bit cold for them too!
