This weekend 5 friends and I went down to OC to scrap. We left Friday morning, right after getting the kids on the bus for school! We made it down to the beach house around noon or so and after unpacking we went to the grocery store to stock up on junk food for the weekend. Once we got back we all got our stuff out and got to work. We all were so tired that night though, so we ended up going to bed around 12:30! So much for all night scrapping!
Saturday once we got our lazy butt's out of bed, Mel made us all breakfast and we lounged around eating and chatting for quite awhile. I guess we probably started scrapping again around noon or 1 that day and we decided to go out to dinner around 6pm. We went to a restaurant called BJ's On The Water. Once we got back from dinner we were all ready to get back to work and most of us ended up staying up till 2am. I guess that's a little better than the first night!
Sunday we got up even later than the day before, so we ate quickly and got to work on our pages since it was the last day. I think that nearly everyone finished 20 or so pages...well, everyone but me! I only finished 9, but I was really happy with getting that done considering how slow I scrap. I decided that I will post one a day for the next 9 days (hopefully I won't forget!) instead of a huge post with all of them. Gives me something to blog about any ways!
Kim dropped me off at home around 5:30pm, and Tony had made one of my favorites for dinner! I couldn't believe he found the time to make it, but it was so delicious! Being away for a few days was so much fun, but coming home is always so nice!
Here's one of the pages I finished:
We spend a lot of time buying and putting up Halloween decorations, so these photo's are of some of our 2008 set up!
